My Space

Welcome to my home away from home!

Sheesh, it feels like forever since I've blogged! I've pretty much settled back into our UK casa and boy does it feel good not have to live out of a suite case anymore!

The ball is starting to roll on my new collection which will be released here in the UK. I've got a whole heap of beautiful vintage garments that I'm preparing to be sold. I'm also currently working on a fiddly 18th Century Victorian Tilt table which I don't think will be ready for a while, but for now I'm on the hunt for a few easier pieces to vamp up. I'm also working on re-branding my blog page a little too, so exciting (and busy) times ahead!

While all that's in the pipeline, I thought I'd entertain you a little with a sneaky peak into my humble abode in the UK.

Apart from missing family and friends back at home in Australia, I am so happy to be back in my own space surrounded by stuff I love. A mixture of vintage and new stuff I've thrifted and collected around UK and during my travels throughout Europe.

I've mentioned in one of my older blogs that my styling ethos is about surrounding yourself with things you adore, your own personal taste and not necessarily following every new trend and fad. That's just what I've done in our place. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but it certainly feels like home to me!

My love for vintage is so obvious in my home.
Check out my thrifted retro lamp which I got for a bargain £10, my vintage Mannan's Tin poster, £3 and this beautiful retro, East German vase which was a gift from a good friend of mine.

My humble office. LLPA headquarters for the duration of my time here ;).

A few more thrifted goodies including Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum. My cute little brass lovebirds.

I just love the beautiful vintage tapestry table runner on my dining table. I picked it up for €3 at a busy market in Rome.

Can you tell I like birds?? I picked these up during a recent trip to France.

...and my love affair with vintage continues!

xx Jo

  2. I totally agree. Home is where your heart and lovely things are. Loving your home, especially your office with the quirky mousepad. Sounds like you'll be a busy birdy. Have fun and I can't wait to see more of your home.
